hey family
hows everyone doing? this past week was pretty good for us. last monday night we taught the rubios about the plan of salvation. it was super cool. they liked it. then on tuesday, we did our studies in the morning. then we went out into the rich area and biked around and tried to find some spanish speaking people. no luck. had dinner with this member named antonio. then went over to joses and taught him a lesson with his member girlfriend gloria. we just watched some mormon messages.
wednesday, we went again into the rich area and we knocked like 2 doors and we were riding and i heard a crashing noise and my companion yell out..."elder...wait" and i looked back and he fell. it was super funny and his pants ripped really bad. so we had to drive back to the house so he could change. then had dinner at the perez. and saw this guy named renaldo del rio. taught him the gospel of jesus christ. he has seen a lot of good examples from mormons from famous people to the people he works with.
thursday, had district meeting. went out and tried to see a couple of people. then taught the chavez family. they still arent coming to church so they arent really progressing too much. had dinner with the hernedez family. they are less actives. it was super good.
friday, we planned for our week. then went out and tried to find some more people to teach. had dinner at the montoyas. then taught jose and got him ready for saturday. then played soccer with the ward.
saturday, went out and tracted in this appartment complex. then left and talked to this guy named calendario. he doesnt really believe in god but goes to the catholic church because those were his traditions.. then ate at the home town buffet with the district. then went to the baptism. jose and this other jose got baptized. it was super cool. jose hernedez got baptized by elder stone.
sunday i confirmed jose and he brought his friend that lives in a little house behind his. he said he likes it so hopefully we can start teaching him. and we had dinner at the bishops house. super good. like allways. thats about it. congrats to my future nephew! adam its about time. maybe we will share the same birthday in february. welp have a good week.
Love
Elder Muffler
