hey family
hows everything goin? this past week was pretty good. thats crazy about dan leaving for another 6 months. thats wild he will get home just before christmas again. anyways everything is going pretty good here. monday night we tried to see some people and had dinner with the acevedo family. they are in an english ward here but they are from peru. so they gave us peruvian food. it was good. tuesday. i was on exchanges with the zone leaders. i was with elder ikimou. we taught a ton and had a really good day. everytime we are together...we do super well. its wild.
then on wensday elder villar had a meeting so i was with an english elder for the majority of the day. it was kinda of fun. i was a little sick and we were on foot cuz the other elders bike tire was flat. it was a long day. thursday we had interviews with president lewis. it was pretty good. then we had district meeting right after. then we got back into tracy and tried to see a couple people. then had p.e.c and then correlation. friday. elder villar interview this guy for his baptism. then we came back and got on bike because we are low on miles for the month. and went on for about an hour and then i got a flat. then we got back in the car and went and taught leilani. she is gettin closer but she just needs to tell her parents she is getting baptized. oh yeah the weather has been in the high 80s and low 90s this week. soo a huge change in climate. that night we taught this new lady about the plan off salvation.
saturday we went to the baptism and after tracted in the sisters area. and went to lunch with all the familys out in manteca. they were celebrating the baptism. after went back to tracy and saw miguel. my recent convert. he is doing good. sunday went to church. it was good. only leilani came. after we were tracting and this guy gave us 2 things of bread.....he said jesus did it all the time. and then we invited him to hear our message....and he said no im a born again christian you both should be ones too.....you are a part of a cult....so we smiled and said thanks for the bread and kept walking. at least we got some bread. then had dinner and a fhe at the gomez home. they are a fun family in the ward. they speak english and spanish. it was just a lot of fun last night. welp gotta get goin. best of wishes to everyone! have a great week
