hey fam
hows everything goin? this past week was pretty good. monday we were up in manteca all day and elder villar had to give an interview. then after we got taken out to famous daves by our member. it was pretty chill. then we went and tried to see some people. tuesday, it was all rainy but we went and out and saw a lot of new people and added 4 new people to our teaching pool. so thats way good. wednesday we had a district meeting. we went tracting and taught a couple of lessons. and met a family from peru who go to an english ward. the are feeding us tonight.
thursday elder villar had a meeting so i was with elder baryshnikov. he was born in russia but moved to the states when he was little. it was fun we taught a bunch of people. then elder villar got home and the way we do missionary work has changed. it is more preach my gospel like. im very excited for it. we did a lot of stuff that wasnt in pmg and also the opposite of some things in the preach my gospel book. friday, we tried to see a lot of people. but no one was home. saturday. we taught a couple lessons and then we went to the church to set up a baptism for the sisters. it was a good baptism.
then yesterday was good. we had 2 people to church. then last night we helped this english member translate her testimony to write in a book of mormon. and she is goin to give it to her friend. i wish all members were as open as that! missionary work would be a lot easier if people weren't scared of their religion. welp thats about it. have a good week!
