Email #6 from the MTC, 6 July 2011

Hola familia,

Mom and dad. your yard work sounds pretty fun. glad im not there to do it all! thats exciting about mom and g-ma goin to visit andrew and cristina and adam and arielle and then sharryll. Dad congrats on the promotion. perfect opportunity to sell my van and save up to buy my me a jeep when i get home! weird how that just worked out perfectly! i did get the copies and the pics. thanks for that! we didnt get mail since lunch time on saterday. it was a long weekend. but right at lunchtime i got a package from andrew christina and jackson. it was awesome and big and had oreos. mi favorito! well laundry is goin good right now. its way busy tho.
so on saterday night we had a special devotional for the 4th of july it was way sweet. this guy spoke who worked with the president and his talk was way good. i should have wrote down his name. they had like a bag pipe trio and some drummers from sctoland came in and it was way rad. then we got to stay up late and watch the stadium of fire. it was fun but we got to bed late. on sunday me and my comp were called to shadow zone leaders and we get to do orientation for the new district in our zone today. its sweet. umm on sunday night our devotional was ait. dallin h oaks daughter spoke and played the violin cuz she is way good. i didnt like when she talked though because she sounded like bragging and she was better than everyone. it was hard to hear the spirit then. 4th of july was wack nothing was different but not a bad day at all. we did get a patriotic cookie at lunch tho but that was it. yesterday was a great day in the mtc. we had our hermana teacher teach and had a good discussion. it was good then during gym i balled it up in the gym. it was good. then got a few letters last night which were way good and made me happy. it was a few friends.
then the fireside. cree l kofford spoke with his wife. their talks were both amazing and very simple. i thought since they were old it was going to be wack and very doctrine but they were way down to earth though. i loved it! it was way simple. both last night and monday night it was raining when we walked back to the dorms which is way sweet because our dorms are like 80 degrees. its insane but not too bad. well the church is true and jesus christ is my best friend. i hope he is yours too!
