hey family
thanks for the package! you gotta stop sendin me the weird gifts
though....like the juggling balls and the frisby golf disc.....instead
of spending and wasting that money, everytime you want to send me
somthing like that you just put the money it would cost into a jar and
give me the jar at the end of my mission. cuz im not goin to ever use
that stuff. im a grown man....i dont play with little kids toys all
day. but thanks. im not unthankful. its just theres better ways to use
your money.
this past week was pretty slow. um on monday night one of our kinda
investigators said he wanted to be baptized. so we set the date of the
18th...and then he talked about how all churchs are good and went off
about miracles with the virgin mary. then he got interviewed yesterday
and he's not ready at all. he doesn't even read the pamphlets we give him.
oh well....the guy interviewing him said its really our call if we
allow him to get baptized or not but he isn't ready. ummm leilani's mom
wants her to wait till she is 20. but we got her interviewed the same
time and she is super ready. she just wants her parents to be okay
with it too.
other than that it was a pretty slow week. just one more week till
transfer calls. im ecxited for those. mabey next transfer this area
will be on fire. cuz its a lot easier than galt. i just need a
companion who wants to work and lead by example. my comp told me the
other day that his 2 transfers here, he hasnt been that motivated. so
that doesnt allow me to do a lot. so i guess we will see. hope you
guys are having good week
