hello family!

whats goin on! sounds like you guys had a nice long weekend. hey hows
sand creek doin in bball this year?? Ms soreno... sounds like she is
doin good. i miss those days in high school. could of gotten away with
anything..... hahah thats what me and elder villar said all the time.
those days are gone.

anyways tracy is huge compared to galt. theres soo many people. theres
like 4 english wards. so my new companions name is elder
mikell.....its pronounced like the actual name (micheal jackson). he
is from tennesse....memphis. where my homeboy elder lebaron was
serving. my comp has a banjo....and plays it every morning when we
sing our hymn. i got a ride down with my ward mission leader. the 1st
day...wednesday, we had dinner at our stake presidents house. it was
really cool. it was with all 18 missionaries in our zone. the stake is
really missionary minded. and its nice to see that.

on thursday we went and saw some people. we have this investigator named leilani.
she is 17 and she is ready to be baptized she is just waiting till she
turns 18....which is next month on the 18th. so she is pretty cool.
then had dinner that night at the henriques house. they are really
cool. after that my companion was feeling sick so we stopped early that
night.....and we didnt get to go out on friday. but i went with
another elder to my dinnner and it was somebody that kalab frisby
baptized. so that was way cool. i cant remember her name cuz im not
too good with names when theres a billion people i have to learn names
for. but its just her and her daughter who are baptized. then saturday
didnt work cuz my comp was still sick.

then went to church sunday. its different. theres not as much love in this ward...i liked the lodi branch better. but it was still good. lots of new people. not that
many white people. we had a lot in lodi because the branch presidency was white. oh well. oh yeah we have 4 sisters in our district and me and my comp.... talk about kind of fun. its different with sisters around.....you cant be silly and have fun. oh well. after church we went over to these recent converts house and gave a blessing
to thier daughter. they were way cool. thats about it. i got a ton of letters this past week though.....like 4. i was happy. welp have a good week.
