hey family
happy thanksgiving! sounds likes its a fun time having tyler and dan and sharryll down for the week! its been a long time since we had a p day. im burnt out. but oh well. today we played football in the rain with an english ward in lodi. it was fun and we are eating at 2 places today then playing basketball tonight. its pretty nice. my companion goes home next week and we switch next week so i wont get to know who my companion is till next week.
this past week. we have been doin the same things. not much is really goin on in our area. we are just trying to find people to teach. we did get back in touch with one of our old investigators and is teaching them again. they are pretty legit. they are neighbors of the guy who just got baptized...alfanso. its pretty cool.
on saterday i got to eat with the english elders cuz my comp was at a baptism. they had chiken and like steamed veggies.....such a white family thing to cook. it was pretty good though. last wensday i went on exchanges up in lodi with elder torres. it was pretty fun. we tracted for like 3 hours haha good stuff. he is fluent though so it was nice bein compainion with him. we also found this german lady who gave us cookies. im allways a fan of that. thats about all i can think of right now so have a nice day! enjoy ur turkey!

hey family.
we never have dinner with the english members. so i have no idea who any of those people are. they probably live in the rich houses too. we tract in the ghetto. this past week flew by. its already the 5th week of the transfer. on tuesday our district fasted for the "white christmas". its this thing that the sacramento mission does every single year. the goal for the whole mission is 101 baptisms. so that means every companionship getting one. and everyday leading up to it a different district fasts for it.
thursday went on exchanges with elder torres. he is from los angeles and he has been in the mission for 5 weeks. he is way awesome. he is a convert to the church himself. that was fun and then that night we went over to alfonso's house and had a legit lesson with him. he showed up to church with a white shirt and dress pants too. he is soo legit.
me and my companion are having a hard time finding somthing to do when it gets dark out. everyone doesnt like us knocking that late even though its only like 7....its like everyone goes to sleep when the sun goes down. its lame but whatever. we will find somthing to do. oh and on tuesday we played volleyball with a bunch of mexicans who play everynight. it was really fun. the primary program was our sacrament meeting. it was ok. ot as funny as in english wards. but still entertaining. welp thats about it. oh yeah saterdaynight. this lady named sisterbell took us out for sushi. it was great! deffinatley the best dinner of the week.
oh yeah on sundays sometimes we eat at our ward mission leaders house and i get made fun of the whole time. its lame. but whatever,. they allways have juice thats realy good. so thats why i go. welp have a great week.

November 7
welp hey
umm this week was pretty good. we had a baptism last night. with this guy named alfanso. it was legit. i baptized em. elder call got to come up from stockton to see it. it was way fun. and alfonso gave his testimony and it was legit. too bad we had like no investigators were there but his wife was there and she next on our list in that family. one cool thing in the confirmation that a member gave. he said that his whole family will go to the temple one day and get sealed. that was legit and inspired so when that happens ill be there.
um besides that not much has happened this week. we had 2 exchanges this week so i went up to lodi with elder jensen. and our zone leader came down with me on saterday. its been getting really cold here lately but we have to wear suit jackets if it gets cold. before it was sweaters so now no one wears anything to stay warm. its kind of funny but hey we all got our flu shots right??? yeah that'll save us. we also taught that 6'4 guy. we didnt play basketball but we had a church tour. it was pretty legit. we brought him to the font and he opened up like crazy so we added him and hopefully he gets baptized. welp thats about it. have a nice week
