hola familia
welp this week has flown by. i cant believe it is p-day once again. yes i did get the package this week with the soap and goodies. its grand and all...except how we already have tons of soap. and im really sick of candy sooo please no candy unless its a holiday. thanks! oh and i guess i didnt tell you that i got my bike and the rest of my stuff fine like my 1st day. i would have said somthing if i didnt.
haha so last night. we were driving home from the blitz and we were tagging behind our house roomates car. and the designated driver wasnt driving and the other one was. his name is elder amos. he is the funniest guy ever. hes from florida and use to be a pro skater till he broke his back. anyways...they are in front of us and we come up to this blinking red light. and elder amos like slowed down and then ran through it way fast. it was kind of funny but then we see this car pull a u-turn and the flashin lights come on. cherries and berries. haha it was funny seein him pull over. and thats why the designated driver should always drive. oh yeah he didnt have his liscens on him eigther. haha
anyways this week i was sick at the beggining of the week. like a stomach virus. but im still alive. me and my companion and the other elders in our house have been running about 2 miles everynight. its fun. we calculate different places to go like everytime. its interesting.
Well on saterday we taught alfanzo. it was a way good lesson. we just had to teach him a lot so we couldnt get it all done. we were trying to get him baptized on the 20th but we might have to move him a week back because we cant see him too much this week cuz he is gunna be gone. he wants to be baptized. and he is repenting we just got to teach him everything! so thats the challenging part. we also got to teach reyes. he is a old guy who just chills at home all the time. he is awesome. he just started reading the book of mormon every day. he likes it. he almost came to church with us sunday but he was waiting on somebody coming down from sacramento. its all good though.
so the mexican/hispanic culture is like the best culture ever. the people are way nice. they give a lot of respect to everyone. they also have pinllatas full of candy at like every party. i never see like any of them sad ever.... they are always willing to have fun too. they know when to be serious, but they are sooo relaxed and always laughing! love em
